Job Description: Marketing Officer
Job Title: Marketing Officer CIGA and SWIGA
Reports to: Head of Communications and Marketing
Scope of Contact Internal – All Staff
External – Key Stakeholders, Members and consumers

Main duties and responsibilities

• Support the Head of Comms and Marketing in delivering agreed activities
• Plan, run and monitor social media campaigns
• Respond and engage with social media communication
• Plan, run and monitor email marketing campaigns
• Oversee and update the WordPress website(s)
• Assist with the preparation, the publication and distribution of publicity materials
• Coordinate with outside agencies where necessary, for example designers, to produce marketing material
• Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups
• Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use on varied platforms (online and print) targeting different demographics
• Coordinate and monitor advertising with e.g. trade publications
• Represent CIGA and SWIGA through events
• Build and develop customer relationships
• Monitor brand awareness and guideline adherence
• Updating of Member and contractor registration data
• Assist the Head of Communication and Marketing with reputation management and monitoring
• Assist and support other departments where deemed necessary to achieve business objectives

CIGA ISA Desktop Assessor / Administrator

Job Title: CIGA ISA Desktop Assessor / Administrator
Reports to: Head of Certification
Scope of Contact
Internal
– Certification Department, Guarantee Services, Inspection Department
External – Inspectors, Contractors

Key Accountabilities:

CIGA ISA

• Carry out ongoing desktop assessment of installer/assessor submitted pre-installation survey information, forming clear judgment on appropriateness to fill
• Ensure CIGA ISA audits are timely and meet requirements under CIGA KPIs
• Assist in the tasking of deployed inspector resources to carry out percentage physical inspections (1 in 10) and review of ISA referrals
• Work with the Quality and Training Manager to carry out investigations into potential noncompliance with CIGA rules of membership

Administration:

• Help to develop the CIGA ISA desktop audit team
• Take ownership of own personal development in line with changes to building certification/regulations
• Operate in a manner that is consistent with good Health and Safety practice and does not present hazards to others.
• Maintain awareness of relevant H&S and other Regulations
• Actively work to improve performance and quality
• Other duties that may be allocated from your line manager from time to time

Improvements and Change:

• Follow all CIGA Procedures and processes relevant to own role. Identify when changes and updates are required, raising these promptly with line manager
• When required, lead and take responsibility for projects and making change happen, overcome barriers and ensure objectives are achieved
• Develop and write work instructions and procedure when required

Communication/Relationships:

• Communicate and work closely with managers and colleagues, building a team which supports each other and CIGA goals
• Act as mentor and trainer to colleagues when required to do so
• Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas and suggestion to develop CIGA products and customer service
• Keep up to date with new development and changes at CIGA.

Knowledge, Skills and experience:

• Experience of Audit
• NVQ business administration or equivalent
• Audit qualification

Quality and Compliance Inspector

Job Title: Quality and Compliance Inspector
Normal Place of Work: Field Based
Reports to: Head of Certification
Internal – Certification Department, Guarantee Service Department, Inspections Department, Finance Department
External – Installer Members, Accreditation bodies

The Quality and Compliance Supervisor is responsible for carrying out surveillance and audit of CIGA CWISC and Certification scheme members to ensure continued compliance in line with PAS2030 requirements as detailed in PAS2031 including Pre, Post and During installation inspections to evidence compliance with relevant agre’ment and system designer specifications

Responsibilities:

• Carry out quality inspection to comply with the required surveillance rates, currently
• Carry out customer guarantee complaint investigations
• Carry out Installer annual reviews as tasked
• Carry out New Installer company assessments as tasked

Administration:

• Carry out planning and maintain CIGA diary to maximise productivity
• Carry out effective surveillance of installers in accordance with department specified process
• Confirm compliance with building suitability assessment/installations/ post installation quality inspections.
• Complete membership review documents maintaining a record of required follow up actions as necessary
• Complete customer compliant investigation reports against the customer journey as tasked

Improvements and Change:

• Substantial track record in developing and delivering training programmes
• Familiarity with Health & Safety issues
• Familiarity with ISO 17065 and PAS 2030
• Experience of carrying out internal audits
• Verifier qualification
• NVQ CWI
• CSCS card
• Hold or be working towards internal audit qualification
• Clean driving license
